How it works
The whole idea, in one breath
You hold our coin. The coin earns money whenever people trade it. Every 6 hours we take that money, buy real company stocks with it, and put those stocks straight into your wallet. You choose which companies. You never click anything to collect them.
-
STEP 1
The coin earns money into one wallet
Every time someone buys or sells the coin, a small fee is created. All of it goes into a single wallet we call the vault. Think of it as a jar on a shelf that fills up on its own. Nobody takes money out of the jar for anything else.
-
STEP 2
A snapshot is taken
Every 6 hours, at a random offset within ±10 minutes of the mark, so the exact moment cannot be gamed.
-
STEP 3
We check who was holding, and how much
To get a drop you need at least 0.1% of all the coins that exist. Everyone who clears that line shares the jar, and bigger holders get a bigger slice — hold twice as much as someone else and you get twice as much as they do. Trading pools, the vault itself and a short published list of project wallets are taken out first, so they cannot take a slice that belongs to real holders.
-
STEP 4
Your slice is spent on the stocks you chose
In you pick between two and five companies and say how much of your slice each one gets. Never chose anything? That is completely fine. You get the standard basket instead, which is currently the top five by market cap, 20% each.
-
STEP 5
Everyone's orders are added up and bought once
We do not place a separate order for every person — that would waste a lot of money on fees. We add up what everyone asked for, buy each company once, in one big order, and then split what arrives back out by who asked for what. You get exactly the same amount either way, it just costs far less to do it.
-
STEP 6
The stocks appear in your wallet
They are sent directly to you. There is no button to press, no page to come back to, no deadline to miss. Open your wallet and they are simply there, and they are yours to hold or sell whenever you like. Then the jar starts filling again and the whole thing repeats.
- Pick 2–5 stocks.
- Each one gets 10–60%, whole numbers only, adding up to 100%.
- You choose from the top 20 by underlying market cap.
- A wallet needs 0.1% of supply to be counted.
A worked example
Say the jar has 10 SOL in it, and only two people qualify this round.
- Maya holds 30 million coins and picked Tesla 60% / Nvidia 40%.
- Sam holds 10 million coins and never picked anything.
Maya holds three quarters of the qualifying coins, so three quarters of the jar, 7.5 SOL, is spent on her behalf: 4.5 SOL of Tesla and 3 SOL of Nvidia. Sam gets the other 2.5 SOL, spent on the standard basket. Both wake up to real stock in their wallet, and the jar starts over.
Numbers are rounded for the example. Real rounds are worked out to the smallest unit, and every round is published in the so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
Questions people actually ask
- Do I have to claim anything?
- No. Nothing to click, nothing to sign, no deadline. The stocks are sent to you.
- I bought today and got nothing. Why?
- You have to hold for a whole round, start to finish. We check twice: once near the start and once at the end, and you are paid on the smaller of the two. Buying halfway through means you were not there at the start, so that round pays you nothing. Your first drop is the next one, and it arrives automatically.
- What if I sell before the drop?
- Then you get nothing for that round. That is the point of checking twice: it stops people buying minutes before a drop, taking a share, and selling straight after at the expense of everyone who actually held.
- What if I never pick any stocks?
- Nothing bad happens. You still get paid, using the standard basket: the top five by market cap, 20% each. Picking is optional, always.
- Does connecting my wallet cost me anything, or let you take my coins?
- No to both. Connecting asks you to sign one short message, which is just a way of proving the wallet is yours. It is not a transaction. It costs nothing, moves nothing, and gives us no permission over anything you hold.
- Are there fees taken out of my drop?
- No. Holding a new kind of stock costs a tiny one-off deposit on Solana, and the project pays that for you rather than taking it out of what you receive.
- Can I change my picks later?
- Any time. A change applies from the next round onward, never to one already under way.
- What if a company I picked drops out of the top 20?
- Its share is spread across your other picks for that round, so nothing is lost or left unspent. The site flags it so you can choose a replacement.
- Am I really buying shares?
- Not quite, and this part matters. You receive tokenised stock issued by Backed Finance, which tracks the company's price. It is not the same as owning a share through a broker: no voting, and you are trusting the issuer. Their price can fall as well as rise, like any stock.
